It works, but write speeds are REALLY slow. I suppose it's fine for the low price paid.
The band is large for my wrist, so I'm not sure if I'll wear it as intended even when I do need to take it somewhere with me. The bracelet concept is better in theory than practice. Especially without a secure clasp.

5Great solutionApr 24, 2012
By D. M. Blevins "DMB"
I ride ATVs and I wanted a USB wrist band/bracelet for emergency medical data. The capacity of this drive is more than adequate (several times over actually) for that purpose. I created an Excel doc and saved it to PDF to put on the bracelet. I've worn it for several days and can hardly tell it is there. IE, it is VERY comfortable. I stopped wearing watches years ago because none of them were comfortable. The bracelet is so comfortable I almost forget it's there. As to putting it on, this isn't difficult at all. I find a counter top, dresser, or anything stable and use that and my wrist to hold the drive end steady while I push the cap end over with my free hand. This is exactly what I wanted and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. If the drive holds up for any length of time it will have been a great solution.

4fast shipping and great productOct 08, 2011
very fast shipping, less than the estimated delivery date. i had a free flashdrive bracelet that was only 512 mb, and i needed more space for school. this product is perfect because i just wear it around to my classes.
a downside would be the basic design. with my free bracelet, the flashdrive part was rectangular and i could use the edge to help push the sides together. with this one, the flashdrive part is flat like the rest of the bracelet which is sometimes hard to put on with one hand

2Good...but!Apr 16, 2012

The flash drive was excellent, but cheaply constructed. The biggest problem was the length of the bracelet. It wouldn't go around my wrist, nor my wife's wrist and she's a petite young lady. I carried it wrapped around my phone handle for a while and finally gave it away to a friend just for the memory component.

1item not as picturedOct 11, 2012

i love the idea of a usb wristband, but i wanted a less-conspicuous one that looked more like the 'Livestrong' type bracelets you see everywhere. this product is close, but it retains an oval shape no matter what you do. it looks kind of unnatural on the wrist. worse, the wristband does not always stay closed-- if i brush up against something, like a jacket sleeve, there is a good chance it will become loose and/or fall off.

so, i came back to Amazon to find a different design. i picked a wristband which, according to the photo on the 'buy' page, has a little oval-shaped closure piece that looks like it snaps into place. it also appeared to be more round than oval-shaped. i thought this would be an improvement, so i ordered it.

naturally, i received the *exact same wristband as before*, including the now-familiar oval shape and the lock-less closure. i'll do everyone involved a favour and assume there was some image problem and not a blatant bait-and-switch. as i write this review, the image to my right of course depicts the product i received. THESE ARE CLEARLY TWO DIFFERENT IMAGES!

i sent an email requesting a return, but no one has responded, naturally.

the only plus side is that the 16GB usb was only $16 bucks-- not too bad a price. i might just strategically snip the rubber and use it like a regular usb-- trying to keep this thing closed and on my wrist while making it look like a normal wristband is a chore. maybe one day, someone will build a *decent* usb wristband, that, you know, *resembles a wristband* and stays closed.
